What is ArcSys Show ?

An event dedicated to Arc System Works games located in the tournament area of the Stunfest 2001 (Rennes, from April 29 to May 1). His Goal is to popularize Arc System Works games among players and casuals. Regular players and organizers will be present to help new players to progress, organize tournaments and promote encounters.


How is it different from a normal tournament held in the Stunfest ?

Unlike classic tournaments, organizers (that are also players), will provide visitors with a dedicated space for their favorite games. It means games will be more visible, the planning is independent from the Stunfest planning, letting us doing tournaments (and finals) at the time we want, and if players want it, a bigger flexibility to organize challenges or demos directly on the scene.

Freeplay is also provided to people who do not participate in the tournaments so they can discover the games and chat with regular players. Our goal is to promote mutual aid, discovery, encounters. Skilled players can help new ones to progress but also play peacefully and progress more.

Tournaments fees are not expensive because we do not want to force players to choose between two tournaments. Many Guilty Gear players also plays Blazblue but do not participate in tournaments, and the contrary is also true. We want these two communities to meet each other and share their differences and similarities. The Arcana Heart tournament, which inscription fee is symbolical, is organized to promote a game that is also different.

There is no cash prize for the winners, but exclusive prizes granted by Arc System Works.

Hokuto no Ken does not have a tournament but will be playable in freeplay.


Registration

You can register for tournaments into the 3hit combo shop. You can also register during the event but registering on the web helps us providing players a better event by knowing how much players are coming.
For Arcana Heart 3, registrations are only at the event.



Tournament Rules

Blazblue Continuum Shift :
Price : 5 euros by player.
Solo Tournaments – 32 players on console. Eliminations with with pool system 4 to 8 players depending of the player number.
2 winning matchs.
As for pools, the number of players going out of pools can change depending of the player number.
Pad, Stick, adapts are ok.
Counterpick only after loosing a match
Side chosen by Heads or Tails
Dlc characters autorized

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core
Price : 5 euros for a team
2vs2 tournament with double elimination system on console.
GGAC version is GGAC+ Jap.
No counterpick, characters must be announced before start.
Pad, Stick, adapts are ok.
Whicj team announce first character chosen by Heads or Tails
Kliff and Justice Forbidden

Arcana Heart 3
Price : 2 euros per player.
Solo tournament on PS3
If 16 or less players, eliminations with a pools system of 4 to 8 players.
If more than 16 players, double elimination system with two winnig matchs.
Free counterpick
Side chosen by Heads or Tails
Pad, Stick, adapts are ok.
Boss forbidden


Traveling

ArcSys show will be held during Stunfest 2k11 in the city of Rennes (France) from April 29 to May 1st. You can travel by plane, train or car to join Rennes.

Chi ci va?
Io non credo di farcela perchè casca proprio nei giorni dopo le vacanze pasquali quando torno dalla Sardegna (che vuol dire più o meno che non ho soldi per altre trasferte), però diciamo che non chiudo totalmente la porta finchè non ho la certezza.

Tuttavia se qualcun'altro ha la possibilità di andarci direi che dovete aprofittarne perchè a Cannes abbiamo fatto davvero bene e soprattutto è un'altra esperienza importante contando che gli eventi internazionali per BB a livello europeo sono pochi, è tutta esperienza che serve.

Porco due, a saperlo prima...raggiungere Rennes non è mica una passeggiata, e non tutti riescono a truffare adolescenti fan di naruto con ripetizioni da 500 euro all'ora <__<
No, sul serio, se mi trovate un volo a meno di 100 euro tra andata e ritorno ci faccio seriamente un pensiero.

Non ci pensare neanche allora Rennes a meno di 200 euro non la fai... ma manco il viaggio eh.

E' una bella cosa, che capita pure in un buon periodo ma con troppo poco preavviso (e contando dove si trova la location non è mica poco). Peccato

Già, troppo poco preavviso.

Per carità si sapeva che lo Stunfest cascava in quel periodo, ma di eventi specifici per BB e GG non era saltato fuori niente fino ad questi giorni. Peccato perchè sarebbe stata una buona occasione per fare altra esperienza e giocare contro i francesi che sono belli solidi anche sui picchia ArcSys.
