I thought a dedicated thread to G-Up would be interesting and informative with the knowledgeable Italian players now I've acquired a fair few of the videos from them, but I'm still learning ^_^

Well, turns out: 'G-Up Shusai Dainikaizenkokutaikai (VHS)' is the same thing as 'G-Up 2nd 3rd Strike National Convention (VHS)'!

Now, whether it's also the 2nd G-Up release i.e. G-Up Collection Vol.2 has still to be ascertained!

2nd National Convention info from the G-Up site.

I could still do with a firm date for this release though, there's nothing obvious on the sleeve :(

C&P from 3.0

Update!

So another G-Up VHS has come to my possession:

VHSCover1

On closer inspection this is the same VHS for the '2nd National Convention' with an alternate sleeve design, although still very similar to the other one.

Inside the cassette box are two pieces of paper, one with brackets and results for the tournament which is identical to the other Match Up Chart and the other a note from Mester.
The first VHS did not have this note and. I'm very curious to know what it says!
Ultimately I want to know whether there any differences in content that would make it worthwhile spending the money to have this VHS digitally converted like the first one.

Here is the note:

VHSNote1

All in all very curious!
